I get a buzzing comming from the lower left area of the drivers side when I try and engage my rear defrost. Also, the pull out lever doesn't stay, and just retracts. A light does come on, but I can get the lever to stay in place, and while I have it pulled, the buzzing come on? Anyone know what it could be. I check my fuzes, and while they look old, none look like they're broken.
Thanks

It is the relay Lives above your left knee. Should be a timer inside that heats up the rear window for 15 minutes and goes out. The defog suck huge amps and the older edition of the control knob did stay out and on. the new switch engages the timer relay and goes back to center. You can engage either in or out on the knob from my experiance.
Buzz is a bad thing. Need to replace the relay

the light should stay on, thats all you need. The switch get spulled out, activated, and then the light stays on to signiy curent. As for the relay, you may wanbt to check your seatbelt warning buzzer [if so equipped- i ahd a 115 with one!] and see if it is making contact with the seatbelt or if it is grounded well. this could cause the buzz.
