I've got to replace my front pads soon. What are the recomendations on pads? OEM or aftermarket?
Thanks

I'm not sure who makes MB pads, but Textar is pretty popular, that's what I use. Some say only OE pads from the dealer with their shims are the only ones that don't squeal naturally from vibration. Shims, or paste and Textars work well for me, though, and are asbestos freee, a big factor I think.

I've heard that some of the aftermarket pads are so hard that the rotor wear increases significantly. Pad may have a 'lifetime' warranty; you'll be replacing the rotors instead!
I'd stick with the OE/OEM, and not have to worry about it. I just bought a set for ~$40 from http:\\buymbparts.com, and installed them (with new wear sensors) in less than two hours.

"breaks" have several meanings, but none of them have to do with arresting the movement of a vehicle
PorkPie, the word you're seeking is "brakes"
We're giving you a warning this time...
