View Full Version : 380SL plastic gaskets for conv top posts

1985 380SL has soft top and searching for the plastic O rings that go around the front winshield holes that seem to protect the chrome where it is around the lock down roof post holes. Any direction or parts book that may reflect these parts would be very helpful. Also and supply book that has parts for the 380 would also be great. Thank you in advance.

Go to www.mercedesshop.com. if you don't see the part listed, write to the owner Phil Rheindarht. I call him the magic part finder. He has gotten me parts, that dealers told me were no longer avaiable. New old stock also.

Your very welcome. But I feel that is part of a club such as ours, exchange of ideas, fixes for car problems, locating parts, and whatever else the members need.

Your also correct there are a great bunch of people that belong to the MBCA. I hope I can get out to STARFEST this year, I would like to meet the people I correspond with.

Only my physical disability hampers me from traveling great distances. Not allowed to fly either, due to the pressure changes. Tried a short hop to NYC from Bradley International in Ct, only 45 minutes, and I could barely walk off the plane. My son wants me to go to China with him this year also. He goes about every two years, and studies and meditates with Shaolin Monks. He is a 2rd degree black belt in Kung Fu and now he has gotten into the spirtual side of the sport. Which he tells me was "invented" by the Shaolin's as a spiritual "dance" to Budha and evoled into one of the many forms of Chinese self defense.
