Are we able to access the old forum question/answers database, for the wealth of information that was accumulated?

Yes, we will be able to search the old forum. However, it will take our webmaster a week to ten days to get it set up so we can search it. I'll let you know when the achieving is complete.

Me too. :(
And a few years from now when this one gets upgraded to something I don't understand, I'll likely be reminiscing about this one.

I thought it was strange that the old forum was just "zapped" away so quickly. Would have been nice to have both. Do you think we'll lose any regulars?

I doubt that we'll lose many, and I'd like to think that we pick up more. Forum members were asked what enhancements they'd like to see on the tech discussion list and the team has been working on this steady for the last six months.
The subject of the change was first brought at the national board meeting in St Louis a year ago and the decision to change made last November in Los Gatos.

Robby, you've communicated the forum changes and rollover time table very clearly. It's best to cut the cord and move on, as you have done very effectively. Otherwise folks would find reasons to keep the old forum format indefinitely. Good job!

Lots of good work, and I’m glad we will be able to retrieve the old forum info, just think someone can start the MB quality discussion again!
