I just upgraded my mobile from a modest Nokia 3120 to the Nokia 6682 which does just about everything except pay its own phone bill. It has two of the features I desperately wanted but didn't have with its predecessor: voice dialing (YEAH! Great when behind the wheel) and Bluetooth connectivity (no more getting entangled in headset cables.)

Does anyone know whether there is any sort of uncomplicated (a key word here, uncomplicated) way to use Bluetooth connectivity to make use of the prewired microphone in the car? I don't need the fancy software to load my contacts list so it displays on the dashboard, I'm just looking to use the integrated microphone and speaker.

I would never dream of going with a phone hard-wired into the car because MB overprices those installations and the choice of phones isn't to my liking (while I like Motorola as a brand, I detest the clamshell style phone).

Just wondering if I have any options here with regard to a Bluetooth hookup.

I got my kit from http://www.eurocarphone.com and it works wonderfully. It has clear sound and works with the steering wheel and COMAND interface. The sales reps are really knowledgeable and they won't sell you a wired or wireless unit if it is not compatible with your car and cell phone.

Nothing to lose since they have a 30 day, no questions asked return policy and the ARGOS comes with a 1 year warranty.
