The windblocker that installs over the rear seats of my '06 350A keeps folding down under wind pressure. Does anyone have the same problem or any remedial suggestions?
Thank you.

Mine flops, too. I have since learned to put my windows up when the windblocker is up. It then keeps its place. It makes sense when you think about it.

I am currently in the market for a sport convertible. Having owned several MB's in the past and I would like to give the CLK consideratiion. However, there has been a lot of bad press lately about the reliabilty of MB products, particuliarly about the electrical components. I would like to hear first hand from new CLK owners about their experiences on reliabilty. Thanks. :)

I have had my CLK500 since October, 2005. And an E500 since January of 06.
The E's 7-speed transmission chip, which means the transmission housing, had to be replaced (I felt the downshift from 3rd to 2nd, so I felt it could be a little more adaptive). I think the dealer did this warranty work just to shut me up.
Apart from that, have had no problems. The E is full of electrical gadgets, more so than the CLK.

I have an '05 CLK and recently the right rear tire just blew out...there was no puncture etc, it just came apart..it cost $350 to replace. What is strange is that a friend had the same thing happen in their '05 with only 4k miles. The right rear did the same thing as mine...have anyone heard of this happening?
