Seats in a 1998 C280

I made a previous post regarding problems with the power seats in my 1998 C280. Both of the seats quit working simultaneously and then start working again at the same time. I received some constructive responses but no definitive solutions. Because the problem occurs in both seats at the same time, I do not believe the problem is with the switches or the motors. Moreover, I have replaced all of the fuses. Accordingly, I suspect that the problem is either in the wiring or more likely in a relay. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and discovered the cause and solution. I would greatly appreciate assistance of any kind. Thank you.
