Wiper Blades on 2003 E320 making very loud noise.

Dealer Replaced Blades at my expense. Didn't help.

Dealer adjusted wiper arm. Didn't help.

Dealer put on a second set of new blades. Didn't help.

Dealer checked with Mercedes for "Dealer Technical Bulletens" Nothing new although recommed new blades and using MB wiper fluid. This was done didn't help.

The head technical person acknowledged this is not uncommon but could not find a fix for the problem.

I am desperate, does anyone know who to contact?

If anyone else has this problem please contact me.

My experience on other cars is that the chatter is usually caused by hardened rubber blaces, but the MB blades are very soft, so new one should eliminate that possibility. Another possibility would be the crud that builds up on the windshield glass. Maybe it needs cleaning, especially if you go through car washes that do "wax" as part of the process. Until that is removed I think it can interfere with smooth wiping. It can be tough to remove. I would try to find something that would dissolve any wax on the glass to clean it thoroughly, but you need to be careful of the paint and any wax protection that's on it.

try cleaning the windshield with a cleaner called "Bon-Ami". It can be found in the kitchen cleaner section of any supermarket for about a buck. Does a great job on windsheilds and will not scratch. I've used it for years.

I would also suggest cleaning the windshield with Bon Ami. You might consider
using Rain-X which lubricates the glass and not only allows the air speed to
clear rain off the glass but also seems to make the blade glide smoother.
