I just bought a 1962 190D yesterday that has not run in many years. A non-diesel savvy mechanic had been fooling around trying to get it to run, and somehow decided it needed a new pump. I found one that is out of another 1962 190D, but then today while working on it, found that my engine is from a 200D. Anyone know if that 190D pump will work on the 200D engine?
I think it is actually glow plug problems keeping it from running, so for now I am going to put it back together with the pump that is in it, and try and get the glow plugs right. But I'm wondering, if that 190D pump will work, should I grab it? Are they hard to come by?
Another thing, anyone know where to come up with brak and clutch cylinder rebuild kits for a 110.110 chassis?
Thanks
Mark
