Hi all you Northern Va. members.

I'm taking an automotive repair class at NVCC at the Manassas campus. Currently, it's the Summer 2006 brake class which meets two nights a week for 8 weeks. I highly recommend this class, and the others. The shop has quite a few lifts, machines of various types, like brake lathes, a transmission shop and you can also take welding classes. Previously, I took the intro class, AUT100 Intro. to Shop Practices. These are college level classes and you can even take the ASE tests.

I also highly recommend the classes there. Great shop, I've been going there since 2000 and have taken many classes including welding, cylinderblock machining, eng. 1&2, tans, brakes, susp., the list goes on. Great teachers. I would suggest trying to get a class with Tim Godfrey or Gary Pharse. Both good people.
