Hi, does anyone know a good body shop between Detroit and Toledo? They should know how to deal with Mercedes beauties from the 60ties.

Call Satish at Motorwerks in Commerce Twp. and ask for a recommendation. Motorwerks is an excellent shop for Mercedes but they don't do body work, however they probaby know what's out there in greater Detroit area.

I have been using Boro’s auto in Troy. They are not on the Web but the phone number is 248-689-7621. It is a small shop specializing in Mercedes Benz. They are located in a residential district off of John R between Maple and Big Beaver Rd He has been working on my father’s cars for 30 years. I will even and take my 1975 450SL across town to go get an oil change. I wish he would do some of my interior restoration I want. If you find anyone in Detroit you trust with that let me know.

Automotive Interiors, Inc. in Clinton Township, on Gratiot, just 1 mile south of Hall Road. They did mine (on recommendation from an indy MB repair shop) and I was delighted with the results. They do a lot of work for dealers and indy MB shops
