Have a 1976 240D (616.619). Trying to find the correct lengths for the three rods that coordinate air flow/fuel low in response to throttle pressure. Appreciate help.

According to my factory manual printed in '75 the lengths are as follows:
Connecting rod (from throttle unit to angle lever): 1st version 310mm. 2nd version 317mm.
Pull rod (from guide lever to tickler shaft) 1st version 205mm. 2nd version 225mm.
The 1st version has a flat bracket bolted to the top of the camshaft cover and the 2nd version has a domed shaped bracket.
The 3rd rod on the curb side of the engine is adjusted with the aid of a self or factory made tool on cars with automatic transmissions.
There is a 4th rod from the firewall capable of adjustment at the firewall swivel bracket on the drivers side.
Basically you want the rods on the curb side of the engine adjusted so as to get full throttle when the accellerator pedal is fully depressed while maintaining the correct kickdown adjustment.
