I have a mint condition 300SE that has 99,000 miles on it. I hit a deer and had to have some front end repairs made. I picked the car up from the body shop and drove it 10 miles and it idled and ran perfectly.
I have had the car stored all summer, but have started it a time or two to keep the batteries up.
When I started it this evening, it cranked for a long time before firing....When revved up to a thousand rpms it runs like a swiss watch...but when I take my foot off the accellerator, in less than a minute, it starts shuddering and dies, like it is flooding or starving for fuel....any suggestions?
