Silly Q...how to install 1996 E320 front wiper blade???

Well: How DOES one put a new wiper blade on?? I bought an aftermarket blade assembly, and I cannot see how to get it to snap in place...the wiper arm will not pull away from the windshield sufficiently...how embarrassing!!! THX, folks!

grab the wiper blade at the center where it connects to the arm. pull it away from the windshield until it makes a popping noise (requires a bit of force). then, push down on the ribbed lever near the center of the blade. this will release the blade and you can then slide it toward the center of the windshield and pull it out from under the arm.
