MY sunvisors keep breaking. How big of a deal would it be to just remove both driver and passenger visors. They have the light mirrors. It's due for some service, I am thinking to just let the Tech remove. Any thoughts. Thanks. Happy driving.

removing the visors is a very quick and easy job - except for the wiring which i assume you will have to put wire nuts on.
all you have to do is remove the rear view mirror - a very hard tug towards you is needed - i kid you not - it will feel like you are breaking it off!
then romove the reading lights - a quick pry with a screw driver or a long thun=mb nail.
then remove a couple of screws in the liner at the top of the windshireld and it will pop of revealing the adjustment screws for the visor , the wiring and the removal screws.
if your visors are floppy, you can tighten them up with the screws found here - if the ball is loose, loosen the screws, slip a piece of thin leather, 1/16 inch, underneath the ball and tighten. this should solve a floppy visor problem and save you a couple of hundred dollars for a new one.

Thanks, the dealer wanted $450.00 for a new set.
I figure I never use them anyway, so off they come.
Happy driving.
