Heya folks
I am experiencing problems with my injection system and wanted to ask the question "is there a "sticky" or a good info sit on the system listing fault diagnosis etc..."
I wanted to also ask was the system employed a "D tronic" as they say
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Up near the top of the page, there's a menu item named "Search" with a little down arrow next to it. That will help you find what you seek.

I have completed my serach and there is nothing coming up with any real meat on it....whereas in other forums like the w123 forum there is a sticky for both versions of the K tronic. Search on as they say

OK. Part of my reason for such a non-answer is that I don't know. Whay model and year are we discussing here?

The car has a mechanical fuel injection pump. It operated at high pressure and has two plungers with two fuel distributors into three injectgors. An electric fuel pump at the rear axle circulates fuel to the injection pump. There are a few electrical devices used for starting but you can consider the system an analog and mechanical computer. No electronics were involved. This didn't happen until the V-8's came out and they too were analog electronic computers.
The injection pump used in your car is a modified version of a diesel injection pump.
