Hello all. I have my 67 300Se coupe in for paint. The body appeared nearly rust free, but when we pulled the chrome from the passenger side rocker panel area we found that there had been a repair to the lower rear part of the front passenger side fender that had rotted out behind the chome. It is not an easy part to fabricate since it actually helps hold and align the chrome molding on to the car.

Does anyone know a good source for a used 111/112 passenger side fender ? I really only need the lower rear portion since we will likley just graft it onto the bottom of my existing fender, so the rest of the fender doesn't have to be pretty.

I have been all over ebay, google, salvage yard searches, etc and need the part pretty much asap. I don't think there are rust repair panels for 111/112 cars, but that would work also.

Any info will be very much appreciated,

Thanks, John Buckingham

They may be available from the classic center. The cost will break the bank if they are. Over $1000. Call them to find out. Some sheet metal is still available.

Thanks. You are right. They are available at the classic center, and they are expensive. My problem is that the car is in the paint shop now and I need one asap. I am hoping to find one that is in the USA now, and available for shipping. I need one as soon as possible. Somebody has one in their garage....
Thanks again, John

I have a left front ie passenger fender on a 1964 W111 Coupe that is destined for the crusher. I have not stripped it to see if it is solid but can do so if you are interested. Please let me know and I can check it. If it is good, I can plasma cut out the section you are interested in and ship only that part. charliel@texhoma.net
