Trip computer on 2000 ML 320 quit working

Is this a fuse or relay or should I forget it.

One fuse controls whole bunch of things along with trip computer eg. Steering wheel sensor etc, you can see the list in the fuse box. I have a similar problem on 2002 ML 320, in my case the trip computer blinks and the mechanic told me that there is a short somewhere - maybe in the trip computer or possibly in the instrument cluster. I am going to get it checked. Will let you know the outcome.

Hopefully someone on the forum will reply to my post as well.
