Steering Wheel Question

Hi - Will a steering wheel from a 1961 190SL fit a 1961 190D ? Anyone ?

Hello,

The back of the center hub is not as deep on the ponton because of its larger steering column cover. The 190SL steering wheel hub is deeper on the back and tapers down to a narrower neck.

You may be able to get it to fit on the shaft, but it would look strange and stick out farther than the original ponton wheel.
