500E Front Fenders

Apart from the dealer does anyone know where I can get replacement front fenders for my 1993 W124 500E ? The problem is unfortunate rust at the lower fender mounting holes. Maybe this can be repaired by welding new mounting tabs..is this possible ?

it can be repaired but it will never be good as a new fender and there are always chances the rust will come back. The area you describe is a common area of rust on all w124 cars. Try Rusty's parts www.buymbparts.com and he will ship them free as well.

These fenders are only available new from the dealer and they are between $800-1,000 each side. This is the ONLY place to get them, and I recommend you buy new ones rather than trying to patch the ones you have.

I make these fenders out of fiberglass or Carbon Fiber if that would help
