Looking for purchase help

I've decided on the 2000-2002 clk. Are there major differences in these years and what preventative maintenance should I have done from the get go? I've read replacing the o2 sensors with Bosch is good. Anything else? Any advice you guys have would really help. I didn't get much help from the local dealer.

I’d look over the service records. Aside from the normal (oil, brake fluid, coolant, fuel filter, air filters, and cabin filter), you may want to have the transmission fluid changed, and the plugs are due. I’d ask for a VMI as well.

The 2001/2002 models have the ME 2.8 ECU versus the 2.0, which is in the 2000.
