I just finished the W123 line up and have posted pics of the Lego versions online. I decided to replicate the 300D and the 300TD, both of which we owned, and then a 280CE AMG coupe, which my friend has, to complete the W123 chassis. I hope you like them as much as I had fun building them.

Hey Joe,

Just spreading the word. I guess I could join, I don't frequent this board as often as I do others though. ;)

Welcome to my world! (So many forums, so little time...)

Don't you know the title "MBCA Member" just proclaims you as "truly hardcore"? :D

I loved Legos as a kid, still have many of the instructions to German sets of the early 80's. Way to combine two of my interests. I just got an HO scale W123 model, HO trains are another one of my "hobbies" I simple have no time for.

Cheers, hope to see you around here some more in the future. (we don't bite, smack or dis or dat) :p

Regards,

Hey Vince,

I don't usually drop by that often, you're right there are so many discussion boards to visit! Again, you're right, these Lego w123s are a great way to combine two interests.

I'm not familiar with "HO"? I used to have Minitrix models as a kid and I still do, in fact, have them stored in our house in Manila.

There will be a Lego meet sometime in April or late March in Santa Ana, CA, so I'll bring the three there as well as the other two I've built (Honda Jazz and the recently done Ferrari 288 GTO) all in the same scale, 1:22.

I plan to do an R107 Lego version soon, but I'm running out of the commonly used pieces, so I'll see if I can make a smaller car if the 107 doesn't push through...
