creaking noises

Since it was new my 1991 300se makes soft but annoying creaking noises from the leading edge of both the driver and passenger door at the window pillars when going over certain bumps. The dealer suggested (126's all do this) spraying some silicone on the door rubber but this is a very temporary fix. Any suggestions?

My 1989 420SEL does/did the same.
There is a wax cleaner, or something of that nature, from Mercedes that I did see one time, and its use was just for the squeaking rubber rub you are most likely having.

I rubbed the rubber seals on mine with a Meguiars product for rubber.
It seems to help some but the more miles I put on it the quieter it gets.

It had 16k on it when I bought it in 2002.
