Brake warning message E320CDI

I have received the message (in white letters, not red) "service Brake, visit workshop" in the display of my 2005 E320 CDI several times. It seems to be related to moving very slowly, as in a parking lot, with very little brake application. The manual says that it means there are errors. Pads are OK and function is fine, message clears itself upon restart. Is this a software issue? Should I wait until I take the car in for its next scheduled service?

No, your owners manual says to visit dealer ASAP. Do it.
