Looking for parts for my 83 300cd

Hello!!!!
I am looking for exterior moulding -especially the rubber moulding that runs along top of the entire passeneger side window. I am also looking for looking for misc interior items (palomino color). If anyone has anything available, please email and I will give you details.

Hello Sabine,

Since you live in CA, I can be of more help. Usually, when you talk about mouldings of the exterior, it is best to get new since used ones will most likely have the same age or fade problem you are trying to get rid of. That's just me.

For parts, I will always rummage a junk yard because there are times when I do find complete gems. I am referring to places like "Pick Ur Parts" where you go into the yard and dismantle what you need with your own tools and pay a flat fee for each part regardless of the car it came from. The seats on a Mercedes cost the same as VW seats....go figure.

If buying new Mercedes parts, get them from Caliber Motors of Anaheim Hills. This is a factory authorized Mercedes dealership. Call 1-800-777-1900 and ask for the wholesale parts department. They will ship to residences or you can pick up parts directly over there. You pay less than retail at this dealership. Also, you would be surprised how cheap some parts are. I admit, certain things are very expensive for this car, but other things have surprised me, so it never hurts to call.

Otherwise, Vince Layton from Missouri has many parts available and he is one the most enthusiastic as well as honest fans of the Merecedes types you have. He is a moderator here so just click on "vlayton" on the forum menu. Ask him what parts you need and he can check to see if he has it. He is currently selling on ebay right now. He has used parts gathered from many Mercedes-Benz cars that were in accidents, sold cheaply by the owners or simply used as a parts car.
