A few years ago I restored a DKW and had an outstanding, bound, shop manual that gave instructions and detailed specs on everything. I don't want to use a CD if I can avoid it. Is there such a manual for a (1981) W123 240D? I want to start doing my own maintenance (adjust valves, etc.). A great car and for the first time in a long time, diesel fuel is cheaper than regular in So. California.
Thanks

Sure, there are official MB manuals for the 123 (not specific to a cetrain year an d model, but they are all covered).
The CD, with all information, is $20 from MBUSA
A full set of books (body manual, A/C manual, engine manual, electronic diagrams, etc) will probably go for $200-300 on eBay, if you're patient.

Thanks. That is the exact information I was looking for. Now I know it makes sense to at least watch for the manuals on EBay or some other place.
