219 with Hydrak Transmission

Someone on Ebay has a 219 ponton sedan with Hydrak transmission. I have never seen or heard of a 219 with the Hydrak, but the photo shows no clutch pedal so it must be right.

Could this be original, or do you think it is a modification?

Yep, the 219 could be had with a Hydrak. If set up properly and the driver knows how to use it, it works fine. However, this was not the case in many applications and many of the original Hydraks have been converted to regular manual transmissions. Go to www.mbzponton.org and look around.
