Will a standard MB W124 car cover fit the 500E/E500?
I suspect yes, but want to be certain before I go buy one...
Thanks,

For the purpose of fitting a car cover, a 124 should be a 124 unless it is a station wagon or tuned/modified car with air dams, wings and other things. Don't know what a E500 is, but my knowledge is somewhat limited. Others may be able to offer more info.

You shouldn't have any problem due to minor differences in the car. There is enough elastic in the bottom of the cover for a little give and take. This comment comes from experiences growing up with a lot of cars from Benz to Lincoln. If you want a difficult car to cover, try a 61 Lincoln, the car is a monster and the cover is also, it fits suprisingly tight but there is still enough give to wiggle it around and open a door partially due to the elastic cord within the edges. Don't skimp on cover quality or you will hate it, also don't park the car outside or even a unenclosed shelter with cover due to the wind flapping the cover and rubbing dull spots on your paint in pressure point areas. I know that sounds stupid, but learned the hard way.

It'll fit just fine.
