Ignition key buzzer

How can I disable the buzzer when I leave the key in the ignition? However, I want it to still buzz when I leave the headlights on.

Hi Robby what one of your veh the wire needed to be cut is important.joeym

Robby-- I just had to replace my ignition lock assembly. What a pain in the a__. Had to dremmel grind out the tumbler and the lock ring. Anyway, there is a micro switch on the lock assembly, on the tube that goes down to the steering column. The manual called it the buzzer switch. Try unplugging it. Good luck. Stuts
