I feel honored to have been nominated and will do my best to post early and often on my 123.
My stable currently consists of a 123, 124, 113 and a 210. The only non diesel in the bunch is the 113, 250sl.
There is a dutch guy with a 113 who installed a 240D engine in his 230 sl.

Zak - we're glad to have you aboard. in a twisted way, we are all brothers, enchanted by the noisy clacking of an idling 5-cyl MB diesel powerplant (and the roar of the turbocharged variety). I'm sure you'll agree that it takes a special kind of person to enjoy the cacophony. I bet you can hear a MB diesel coming from blocks away (as I can). HEck, even my dogs know I'm coming their way long before they see me!

Don Swinford and Al Cooper are the kindly uncles, with all of their twisted nephews gathering 'round. Why is it that there are so few female 123-ers?

No way, I used to date a really hot tennis player/babe that drove a 300CD. It was her daddy's. It was legendary cool. Talk about a shaggin wagon !
My black lab, benny can hear my 300D coming down the drive and runs to meet me. I am taking it out for a long drive tomorrow, just to feel that ride.

We could make them Associate Members with no club rights.
Theys don't know how to drive such a complex machine.!!!

I like that idea, although the "no club rights" is problematic as NOBODY has any club rights!!!
