This may not be the right forum for a "For Sale" car, but thought all you 123 addicts would be interested. If it isn't, please disregard this post, and see it on the "For Sale" forum!!

1983 300CD, European lights. I've owned it and nurtured it for about 10 years. Have all records since then. 230K miles BUT:

51K mi. on factory remanufactured engine. Runs strong.

6K mi on factory remanufactured trans, and complete A/C overhaul including compressor, all hoses, dryer expansion valve & R134 conversion.

6K mi. on all engine hoses & belts, coolant tank, flex discs, master cylinder, and motor mounts.

Less than 5K mi. on ACC (automatic climate control) pushbutton unit, AMG style 16"X7 1/2" wheels.

Recent Bilstein shocks, suspension rebuild

Interior is nearly perfect, As is the exterior. Repainted (anthrecite) about 6 years ago, still looks great, with only a couple minor stone chips.

This is the nicest driver of this example you are likely to find. There were less than 2,000 made that year. It has been garaged since owned, and is very reliable, (as you would expect of these cars). No rattles, it is very tight. I have about $10K in receipts (much to the wife's dismay) in the last three years, due to all the work listed above. This beauty will be sorely missed, but it is time to move on to another project. Price is $13,900, and a bargain at that!

E-mail pix are available to serious buyers. Thanks, Bob. blkchambers@verizon.net
