I have no blower motor in any mode high, low, auto. All fuses are good. Removed blower motor and tested and it is good. Is there a relay or something else that would not allow voltage to the blower motor terminals. Removed the climate control but is is a sealed unit. I have no prints except for haynes manual and they are for a rotary type climate control. Thanks for any help.

James, did you check the fuseable link pointed out earlier? It's under a plastic housing about 1.5 inches x .5 inches, in front of the fuse box. See photo below (cover has been opened so you can see the link)

I have not checked the fuseable link and will do that tonight. Thanks for the help and the picture really helps.

Fixed the problem with the blown fusible link. Just wondering what would cause it to blow with no short. Thanks very much for all help.

Just like the rest of us, some parts break with age. In the case of aluminum, it proably just got brittle over the years. My '91 300E had the same problem about a year ago. FWIW.

Hate to bump such an old thread, but can someone point me to an online supplier of the fusable link? Mine's shot (91 300E), but there aren't any dealers around this area, and none of the local parts stores seem to carry it ...

Either the Benz Bin at thebenzbin.com or Caliber Motors at 1-800-252-6877. If your order is over $50 the Benz Bin has free shipping. Otherwise see which of the two offers the best deal ... and get a spare strip fuse or two. I paid .66 a piece for the 30amp Bosch strip fuses from the Benz Bin a few weeks ago, and ordered a set of Textar front brake pads so the total exceeded $50.
