a couple of months ago, the driver's side rear door was making a lot of noise as it was opened. my mechanic greased it up as well as he could and worked fine after that. yesterday I tried to open the door and could only get it open half way without meeting significant resistance (so significant that I thought I'd break or bend something if I forced it open fully). I suppose a bunch of bearings failed...what else could it be? it's not intersecting the trailing edge of the driver's door at all.
