Today, I was trying to get the old wax out between my plastic vents and nearly gave up. Then I got an ideal. I grab my Oral-B electric toothbrush and guess what?
I was able to clean between the plastic stuff on my hood vents on the SL500.

Tiggerfink,
I have been keeping my old tooth brushes (non-electric) as they work great for getting the old white wax residue from around engine badges, model badges, vents, tiny seams, etc. They don't scratch the paint and are the perfect last detailing trick for those pesky areas nothing else seems to be able to get to.

I tried the electric toothbrush for wheel cleanining, but it left a horrible taste when I brushed my teeth later on.
I decided to not let my wheels get dirty enough to require that type of cleaning and I DON'T wax my wheels.
