That is pretty much impossible. The dash and all paneling would cost over $15,000 to have changed.

I doubt very seriously if it is possible to dye the interior of your car FROM the color it is TO the color you want, with any lasting effect. A gentleman whose name (and screen name) is CharlesBoyd is our South Central Regional Director, and is also a nationally-known (and honest and frank) professional MB restorer. He recently gave the restoration talk at Star Tech. As he is not one who "just wants to take your money", he has no hesitation about telling a would-be client that the proposed project is impossible or economically unjustified. You might PM him with your question. He could give you an honest and expert opinion.
In my amateur opinion, it can't be done. Even if there were a dye that could go from a darker, richer color to a lighter, more neutral color on some materials, you simply have too many different kinds of materials to dye to get an even and uniform job. Besides, the blue interior is somewhat of a "hallmark" of the model you have purchased. We have some friends who have one of these with the blue interior, and it is just georgous!
Thanks,
Richard

I agree, blue is the most beautiful color for the interior on the W126, especially the later ones with the burl wood. Both of mine have grey, which is also nice, but harder to keep clean. ;)
