If you are like me, you use 303 for vinyl, MB Tex, leather, rubber, and convertible tops. I have just been wiping it on and wiping it off, in my use of this product.

Many of you may know the following, and if so, please disregard.

But I have just discovered that the proper use of 303 is to apply it generously, smooth it out with a foam applicator or similar material, and allow it to soak in for about 20 minutes. Then wipe it with a cotton or microfiber cloth.

This will give a much glossier, richer finish that is dry to the touch. It allows the 303 to actually soak in to the material. I hate to say this, but the result looks rather like Armorall, but is not greasy at all, and won't dry out or damage the material.

Again, if everyone knows his, I'll confess to being a fool. But if anybody out there does not know this, try it and you'll like it.

Thanks,
Richard

Richard, the salesman at the boat store where I purchased 303 Protectant advised to apply it sparingly ... "a little goes a long way". I lightly spray a Griot's Garage blue detailing sponge when appying it to tires ... works very well and produces a flat black appearance. Avoids making a mess of the wheels and having to wipe off any overspray.

Ah, yes, so many threories on how to use any product. Regardless of how much 303 you use, I still find it advantageous to wait 15 minutes or so to wipe it off and polish it.

Thanks,
Richard
