Chewing gum removal

Anyone have a quick fix for removing "cured out" chewing gum from leather. I just discovered some of my son's handywork this afternoon. If there are no "quick fixes", I'm going about removing it the old fashioned way, ssscrubbbing with soap and water, then leatherique.

Yup, try to freeze it with a frozen plactic water container. When gum is frozen, it just breats right off and out.
