I have made it a point of driving my '67 250sl as much as possible lately and after about 500 miles all the kinks work themselves out. The car starts on a half crank, it idles smooth and accelerates like a dream.
However I noticed my right elbow searching for a place to rest in between shifting and remembered seeing some W113 parts outfit offering a combo arm rest and storage box that was essentially an enlargement of the wood tray. It had a hinged top covered in your color MB tex and a wood box that was about 8 inches high and attached to the trans tunnel in the same manner as the stock tray, in the same wood as the tray.
Has anyone seen this product ?
