The 2-3 shifts in slow stop and go traffic are very hard about 70% of the time.
the 1-2 shift is smooth and as I lift off the accelator to slow for traffic, it shifts up to 3 with a very hard klunk.
if I accelerate to higway speed from a stop the 2-3 shift is brisk, but not hard.
Have noticed that in some situations under heavy acceleration, the 2-3 shift will take place about 45-50mph, unless I hold the transmission in the 2 position and shift manually at a higher speed.
Transmission was rebuilt about 5k miles ago by a reputable shop. transmission fluid and filter was just changed. Before it goes in for an adjustment. what are the probable problems that should be addressed. For example, vacuum modulator, linkage adjustment & kick down switch.
